Becoming a Member
You can obtain membership in the OPA by joining CPA as an Ontario based physiotherapist. To obtain a membership form you can contact the OPA office by phone or email or download a form directly from CPA's website at www.physiotherapy.ca.

Full membership categories include:
- Full Time: Employed as a physiotherapist more than 800 hours in one membership year
- Part Time: Employed up to and including 800 hours in one membership year
- Inactive: Not currently employed or employed but not as a physiotherapist
Other categories of membership include:
- Student: Enrolled as a physiotherapy entry level student at an Ontario university
- Support worker: For those working under the direction of a physiotherapist who have graduated from a recognized program for support personnel or have completed on the job training in the field
