Position 1: Physiotherapist; Permanent Full-time - Waterloo
Position 2: Physiotherapist, Permanent, Part Time - Waterloo
Position 3: Physiotherapist, Permanent, Full Time - London

The Physiotherapist will perform duties normally associated with physiotherapy services. The Physiotherapist agrees to provide physiotherapy services according to the Scope of Practice as defined by the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario and according to any legislated acts governing physiotherapists. The Physiotherapist agrees to act according to the Code of Ethics as defined by the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. The Physiotherapist will be considered an employee of AIM Health Group (AHG).
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide physiotherapy services supporting a multi-disciplinary clinic
- Provide and supervise the keeping of necessary documentation and records as defined by AHG for themselves and any support personnel under their supervision
- Attend weekly case management meetings
- It is the Physiotherapist’s responsibility to provide proof of registration and current liability coverage.
- The Physiotherapist may be required to provide services to other local AIM Clinics
Clinical Duties:
- Perform clinical assessments. Assessment information must be written legibly and placed in the client’s chart
- Initiate appropriate treatment intervention based on clinical assessment
- Set goals, which are re-evaluated weekly, and provide treatment plans for clients
- Provide on-going evaluation of client progress a minimum of every 5 visits or if client status has changed
- Communicate and consult with appropriate referral sources and stakeholders
- Weekly electronic charting, using Park Lane, utilizing SOAP format (subjective, objective, analysis and plan)
- Preparation of initial, progress and discharge reports sent to referral sources and other designated stakeholders
- Attend weekly clinical meetings, and staff meetings as scheduled
- Attend case conferences for appropriate programs and discuss client status with other team members as required
- Discuss cases with physicians or specialists as required
- Provide client education lectures as requested and regular one on one education to clients
- Clinical guidance in the development of exercise programs
- Collect outcome measurement information
- Participate in Quality Improvement Initiatives
- Meet and/or exceed productivity standards
- Follow company policies, procedures and processes
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy
- Licensed to practice in Ontario
