JOB SUMMARY:

Well established sports medicine clinic, located in West Toronto is seeking an energetic, motivated, independent, and enthusiastic registered physiotherapist to join our team of health care professionals including three orthopaedic surgeons, an office manager and two clinical assistants. Excellent compensationésalary with the option of partnership.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Ability to independently assess and analyze clinical findings in order to develop treatment plans appropriate for the patientès condition, and to change and terminate when necessary.
• Ability to safely carry out commonly accepted physiotherapy techniques relevant to patientès condition and utilize evidence-based practice where available, e.g., modalities, manual therapy, exercise therapy, etc.
• Ability to work effectively with a multi-disciplinary health care team

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide patient care following current accepted standards of practice and principles of physiotherapy in the assessment and progress and discharge of patients.
• Maintain current written assessment and progress notes on patient health records, and communicates with other health care team members as required.
