MVA Fees to Increase August 1st
The Financial Services Commission of Ontario (FSCO) has released an adjustment to the Professional Services Guideline and the PAF Guidelines. The revised Professional Services Guideline increases the maximum hourly rates by 2.3% for services rendered on or after August 1st, 2009, even if approved prior to August 1st. Maximums payable for the completion of forms have not been increased.
The 2.3% increase reflects the change in the Consumer Price Index for consumer prices in Canada (all-items) during 2007 and amounts to a fee of $94.09 per hour for physiotherapy services ($113.12 for catastrophic).
