Opportunities to be Involved

OPA is a dynamic organization. It needs and encourages members to be actively involved in the Association's activities.

Volunteering for your Association offers youthe ability to acquire new skills in public speaking, effective presentations, research and report writing, advocacy and marketing, conducting a meeting and team leadership.

You can:

• Contribute at the local level by participating in district meetings and activities, focus groups and participating as a riding representative working with your local MPP.
• Participate in committee work. Committees within OPA play a vital role in Association activities. There are several committees ready to welcome members.
• Run for election for the Board of Directors, taking a province-wide approach to strategy and policy development for the profession in Ontario.
