There are 3 Levels of advertising:

1. Basic Service includes: Company name; address; phone number; fax number; Contact; E-mail address; in one category of your choice. Cost is $150 per year plus gst.
2. Premium Service includes: (Bold Type) Company name; address; phone number; fax number; contact person; e-mail address; link to your web site; 10 lines of information on your products and services. In up to 3 categories of your choice. Cost is $500 per year plus gst. Add your logo at the top of your ad and in each of the 3 categories for an additional $200 per year.
3. Platinum Service includes: everything in Premium in up to 10 categories and up to 25 lines of information on your products and services. Cost is $1000 per year plus gst.

Employment Opportunities

There are a number of reasons why advertising your employment opportunity on the OPA website can be beneficial.

• With over 20,000 visitors per month, the OPA website has the potential to give your ad tremendous exposure.
• You get a banner ad (including your logo) which links to a full page ad (complete with e-mail and website links), for only $500 per month. An excellent value that directly reaches your target market.
• In most cases, job vacancies can be posted on the OPA website within 24 hours.
• Graphics and photographs can easily be incorporated in the ad at nominal cost.

Note: OPA accepts advertisements for physiotherapists to enter into business partnerships or other situations of independent practice in private clinics, but does not accept advertisements from non-physiotherapists looking to hire a physiotherapist as an employee in a private practice. Advertising Educational Opportunities via i-blasts

Advertising educational opportunities through OPA direct email i-blasts is a quick and effective way to reach over 4400 members of the Ontario physiotherapy community.

Professional development i-blasts are sent on or nearest to the 15th of every month. Submissions for advertising are due on the 1st of every month and should be sent to Ivana Palianyca, Practice and Communications Coordinator, at ivanap@opa.on.ca.

Format

All advertisements should follow the following format:

• Name of the Course/Seminar
• Date(s) & Time(s)
• Location(s)
• Cost
• Brief Description - maximum of a 100 words
• Contact - person's name, phone number and/or email address, website link for more information

Cost

Educational opportunities can be advertised through the Association for a cost of $50.00 per course per insertion. Educational opportunities that provide a meaningful discount to OPA members are subject to a discounted advertising rate.

Educational opportunities offered by an OPA District or organization that would generate revenue towards the activities of the OPA are not subject to any advertising fee.

OPA reserves the right to change the policy and/or the cost associated with advertising professional development opportunities without notice.

OPA cannot verify the accuracy of the claims made in advertisements and acceptance of an advertisement does not imply endorsement by the Ontario Physiotherapy Association.

OPA reserves the right to refuse any advertisement. Advertising that contravenes any OPA policy or position will be refused.

Physiotherapy Today

For those of you who prefer a more traditional form of advertising, the OPA newsletter Physiotherapy Today is the answer. We offer a wide variety of ad sizes and prices, (click here for our rate card), to suit every budget. The newsletter is mailed to over 4,500 members across Ontario and is a bi-monthly publication.
