You care for others every day – but how well do you tend to yourself? This interactive workshop is designed for physiotherapists and rehab professionals who want to build long-term emotional resilience, prevent burnout, and enhance clinical relationships and improve the quality of the care they deliver.

Through a mix of evidence-based learning, guided reflection, and small-group discussion, you’ll explore how your emotions influence your clinical work and vice-versa, and how self-care can become a consistent practice.

  • Shift your mindset around self-care – from a luxury (the occasional vacation) to a necessary part of your daily clinical practice (in-the-moment skills).
  • Recognize tense emotions that can arise during patient interactions and learn how to work with them.
  • Understand the role of emotions through a biopsychosocial lens and how they impact the rehab process – for you and your patients.
  • Create a personalized plan to support your well-being specific to your needs as a helping professional.

This is a small-group learning environment to allow for meaningful discussion and community building. There are only 8 spaces available. Coffee, tea, snacks and light refreshments will be provided.
