# Ontario Physiotherapy Association

> The Ontario Physiotherapy Association (OPA) is the professional association for physiotherapists, physiotherapist assistants, resident physiotherapists, and physiotherapy and physiotherapist assistant students living in Ontario. OPA provides leadership, advocacy, professional development, career support, practice resources, and public information to improve access to safe, high-quality physiotherapy services.

OPA is a member-based health professional association and a provincial branch of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. It represents the physiotherapy profession in discussions with government, health-system partners, insurers, employers, and other stakeholders.
