Charlotte Anderson

Charlotte Anderson, MSc. PT, PhD, is the President-Elect of OPA. She joined the Board as a Director in 2023. Charlotte is the founder and owner of ALPHA Health Services and 360 Concussion Care. She works to bridge the gap between private and public healthcare in Ontario to foster collaboration between practitioners along a patient’s continuum of care. She earned her PhD from the University of Toronto, and her subsequent research has been in concussion clinical care and Ontario health systems research. Charlotte practices clinically in Toronto and is Associate Chair in the Department of Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto.

Craig Roxborough

Craig Roxborough has served as Registrar and CEO at the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario since May 2023. In this role, Craig has supported a right-touch approach to regulation, strengthened the organization’s commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion across all levels of decision-making, and modernized the College’s work to be more efficient and sustainable.  
With over a decade of experience in health regulation, Craig has a demonstrated history of building strong and collaborative relationships with registrants, the public and system partners in support of our shared goal of ensuring Ontarians have access to high-quality care.   
Craig holds a PhD in Philosophy from York University.

Mary-Catherine Fraser Saxena

Mary-Catherine Fraser Saxena, PT, is the Manager, Practice Advice at the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. She is a registered physiotherapist with extensive experience as a clinician and clinic director in private and public facilities in Ontario, Manitoba and the United States. Mary-Catherine joined the College in 2020, and provides guidance to physiotherapists, patients, caregivers, and others across the province. She regularly meets with physiotherapy students to support them in understanding the professional standards and role of the College, and also volunteers with Physiotherapy Education Accreditation Canada.    
Mary-Catherine holds a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy from the University of Ottawa and a Master of Science in Rehabilitation Science from the University of Toronto.

Anna Marie Sneath

A PT clinician, educator, certified coach and leader with over 30 years of experience in the public sector, Anna Marie has mentored many peers, teams and students in professional practice, quality improvement, change management, advocacy, team functioning, and career development.  She holds a status position with the Dept of Physiotherapy at U of T and has been a past Board Director for the Ontario Physiotherapy Association. She joined Arthritis Society Canada in 2022 as Senior Director for AREP (Arthritis Rehabilitation & Education Program). She is dedicated to asserting the value and utility of extended scope practitioners within the interprofessional model, to equitably support connection to Arthritis care for all Ontarians.

Jessica Powers

Jessica Powers is a Registered Physiotherapist with dual Master’s degrees in Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Science. She currently practices with Spectrum Health Care, where she delivers patient-centered home care and develops individualized treatment plans to optimize functional outcomes. Jessica also serves as a Principal Investigator and Clinical Consultant, leading research initiatives focused on improving clinician experience and patient care through innovation, including AI-enabled solutions. With prior experience as a Program Manager, she has led interdisciplinary teams and advanced best practices in service delivery. Jessica is actively engaged in research, professional committees, and knowledge translation to enhance rehabilitation care across community settings.

Nirtal Shah

Nirtal is a physical therapist who has worked at the University of Toronto’s David L. MacIntosh Sport Medicine Clinic. His academic involvement spans multiple disciplines at the University of Toronto, including teaching roles in the Faculty of Kinesiology, Department of Family and Community Medicine, and Department of Rehabilitation Sciences. Nirtal has been teaching for the past 15 years. Nirtal has developed innovative courses in digital health, combining his extensive 15-year digital health experience with his passion for innovation. As the Founder and CEO of Curovate, Nirtal leads a pioneering health technology company specializing in developing mobile health applications, or apps, for orthopedic rehabilitation, including knee replacement, knee osteoarthritis, hip replacement, and anterior cruciate ligament surgery recovery. Since 2016, his vision has grown into a successful company offering subscription-based rehabilitation apps on both iOS and Android platforms. With seven years of experience in virtual or video physical therapy delivery, Nirtal leverages digital health technology to enhance patient access, adherence, and engagement throughout the rehabilitation journey. Nirtal has experience using large language models in his daily digital health work and he teaches how to integrate AI into health care provider practice.
