Get involved in your district

The Ontario Physiotherapy Association (OPA) is divided into 16 geographic districts across the province. As an Association governed by a voting delegate system, each district gets a proportional number of voting delegates who volunteer to represent their district at OPA’s Annual General Meeting and other meetings.

Members of districts participate in social events, professional development opportunities, advocate for physiotherapy, and network with their colleagues. Some district members also volunteer to organize courses, social events, webinars, and more. Districts also bring a broad base of support and the unique perspective of local health issues and professional matters to the provincial level.
