Fair fees and fewer barriers

Helping you navigate WSIB with clarity and confidence.

OPA advocates with WSIB for appropriate compensation, reducing administrative burden and ensuring fair and transparent insurance practices. We also keep our members informed of changes to WSIB programs, fees, and services.

What is WSIB?

The WSIB is an agency of the Ontario Government Ministry of Labour. Its mandate is set out in the Workplace Safety and Insurance Act, 1997 (WSIA). Physiotherapists who treat WSIB claimants should be aware of their obligations under the law.
