OPA Wants YOU!

OPA is launching a spring campaign to celebrate physiotherapists and physiotherapist assistants across the province. We want to feature PTs and PTAs talking about what opportunities they see for the profession, what lies ahead, and where they think we can continue to have an impact on the people living in Ontario.

About the Campaign

The campaign will feature our members sharing their plans and hopes for the future of physiotherapy. We will publish short videos on our website, social media, and other OPA communications platforms. Paid advertising will ensure that the videos are seen by many people living in Ontario. The videos will reflect the diversity of practice areas, career stages, and regional realities.

We want to feature PTs and PTAs talking about what excites you about the future, how you’re serving your community or the ways physiotherapy is making a difference to your patients. You can choose to speak about any innovations in your practice, how physiotherapy is evolving or how access to physiotherapy improves the overall health care system.

Interested? How to Apply

Record a short video on your computer or phone. Casual is perfect! Answer one of these questions in your video:

  • What keeps you excited about being a physiotherapist/PTA? 
  • What innovation are you bringing to the care of your patients? 
  • What does the future of physio look like in your area of practice? 
  • What’s a skill or area you’re diving into now that excites you? 
  • How are you blending the human and the digital (ie. AI tools) in your practice? 
  • How are you contributing to physiotherapy’s role in the broader healthcare system?  
  • How are you collaborating with other health care providers or within the health care system to improve outcomes?

  • I hereby grant to the Ontario Physiotherapy Association (OPA) the right to use my picture, photograph, video, silhouette and other reproductions of my physical likeness in connection with any OPA marketing or communications activities. I hereby grant to Ontario Physiotherapy Association, its successors, assigns and licensees the perpetual right to use, as you may desire, all video and photography, and the right to use my name or likeness in or in connection with the exhibition, advertising, exploiting and/or publicizing of the picture and video. I agree that I will not assert or maintain against Ontario Physiotherapy Association, your successors, assigns and licensees, any claim, action, suit or demand of any kind or nature whatsoever, including but not limited to those grounded upon invasion of privacy, rights of publicity or other civil rights, or for any reason in connection with your authorized use of my video or photography submitted to be published via email, website or social media profiles of the Ontario Physiotherapy Association and any other advertising conducted on behalf of the Ontario Physiotherapy Association. I have received permission from any other individuals other than myself included in the picture(s) to share their image and likeness. I have received permission to include any logos or other identifiers of the organization in the picture(s). We will contact all who submit an application to discuss next steps. We may choose to use your submission in our campaign, or discuss other options such as featuring you in our National Physiotherapy Month campaign.

what happens next

All We Need is 30 minutes!

We will schedule a 20–30 minutes Zoom interview in the week of February 23-27, 2026 with our marketing agency, SalesLoop. They will help you shine! The Zoom interview involves:

  • Your answer to one prompt in the section listed above under Step #1. Your personal take; no script or preparation needed! 

We will develop a campaign, that includes a landing page, videos and ads to be published on all OPA communications platforms. The campaign will take place April 24 – June 30.
