The WSIB is an agency of the Ontario Government Ministry of Labour. Its mandate is set out in the Workplace Safety and Insurance Act, 1997 (WSIA). Physiotherapists who treat WSIB claimants should be aware of their obligations under the law.
Fee for service visit rates are revised regularly to keep pace with CPI. In 2026, a 2.0% increase to these professions’ service codes will be applied. Fee schedules and billing information will be updated on the WSIB website mid-January.
Please note that all services up to and including December 31, 2025, should be billed under the current service fees.
The new fees apply to services delivered on or after January 1, 2026.
