2026 Donate Your Kicks Campaign 

In honour of National Physiotherapy Month, Hotel-Dieu Grace Healthcare and the Windsor District of OPA are organizing a shoe drive in order to stock the HDGH Clothing Closet. This gives patients of the hospital access to clothing or footwear who are in need. 

A good pair of shoes can make all the difference in a patient’s path to recovery. An absence of proper footwear can significantly impede a patient’s ability to become more mobile. 

As such, we are asking staff members, students, volunteers and the general community to consider donating your used but in good repair running shoes to help support our rehab program’s goal of getting people moving. 

Join Us!

Please consider being a part of our 2026 Donate Your Kicks Campaign during the month of May! It’s easy to do, just: 

1. Set up a collection box at your clinic or workplace.

2. Print off the Information Handout and Poster to advertise to your clients.  

3. Encourage clients and staff to donate their used but in good shape running shoes to go towards the Clothing Closet at Hotel Dieu Grace Healthcare.

4. Send pictures of your collections to Amy @ amydoiron3@gmail.com 

5. Contact Amy to arrange a time when the donations can be picked up at the end of the month of May.
