Kenora Physiotherapy is seeking a highly motivated Physiotherapist to join our clinic. The successful candidate will provide high-quality, evidence-informed physiotherapy care to a diverse patient population, supporting individuals in improving mobility, managing pain, recovering from injury, and achieving meaningful functional goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs, clinical findings, and functional goals.
  • Provide hands-on physiotherapy treatment, therapeutic exercise instruction, education, and ongoing progress evaluation.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential clinical documentation in accordance with professional standards.
  • Collaborate with patients, families, physicians, insurers, and other health professionals as appropriate to support coordinated care.
  • Promote patient safety, informed consent, privacy, and ethical clinical practice in all aspects of service delivery.
  • Contribute to a respectful, professional, and team-oriented clinic environment.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent recognized physiotherapy education.
  • Current registration, or eligibility for registration, with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.
  • Successful completion of applicable physiotherapy competency or licensing requirements.
  • Professional liability insurance, or eligibility to obtain coverage prior to commencing employment.
  • Strong clinical reasoning, communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to patient-centred care, professional growth, and evidence-informed practice.

Preferred Assets

  • Experience in private practice, outpatient orthopaedics, sports injury rehabilitation, or musculoskeletal care.
  • Additional training in manual therapy, acupuncture, dry needling, concussion management, vestibular rehabilitation, pelvic health, or related clinical areas.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative clinic team.
  • Interest in serving a broad community caseload in Northwestern Ontario.
