Physiotherapist Position in Parry Sound - Ontario Physiotherapy Association

Regular Full-Time Position

Basic Requirements

Successful completion of a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy or equivalent;
Current license or eligibility for membership with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario (Resident Physiotherapist);
Current membership in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario (Physiotherapist);
Passed the written component of the Physiotherapy Competency Exam (Resident Physiotherapist);
Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills;
Demonstrated ability to manage a full caseload;
Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplinary team;
Current CPR basic rescuer certificate;
Demonstrated commitment to continuing education and maintenance of high professional standards;
Demonstrated satisfactory attendance levels, work performance, disciplinary history, and positive work references;
Demonstrated knowledge of various computer applications and software related to healthcare programs;
Ability to work in a manner that exemplifies the core values of the West Parry Sound Health Centre: Compassion, Accountability, Rights and Responsibility, Excellence, and Safety.

Preferred Qualifications

A minimum of two years’ experience in Physiotherapy;
Demonstrated skills and experience in health care teaching and supervising rehabilitation assistants and students;
Superior level of skill, experience, ability, and qualifications;
Valid Ontario driver’s license and access to a vehicle as travel may be required.
