POSITION: Physiotherapist, Permanent Full-Time

CLOSING DATE: Open until filled

SALARY: $49.05 to $54.10 per hour + Full benefits package, including pension, health/dental, vacations. Salary is as per the ONA Allied Local Agreement. Up to $5000 in relocation assistance is available, as well as housing to help facilitate a smooth transition.

Our Hospital Foundation is offering a $15,000 signing bonus to qualified Registered Physiotherapists, in exchange for a two-year commitment.

QUALIFICATIONS:      

1. Must be a graduate of a recognized School of Physiotherapy, which is approved by the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. Must be registered or eligible for registration with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. 
2. Able to work and manage a case load independently and with other multi-disciplinary team members.
3. Demonstrated ability to apply theoretical knowledge in problem solving and troubleshooting.
4. Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position in compliance with the Occupational Health & Safety Act.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

To assess and treat inpatients and outpatients in compliance with the Red Lake Margaret Cochenour Memorial Hospital’s policies and procedures and the College of Physiotherapy Standards of Practice, and as outlined in the position description. For a full description of the position, please contact the undersigned. 

RLMCMH is an 18 bed facility located in beautiful, rural Northwestern Ontario. We offer 24 hour emergency care, acute & chronic care, oncology, diagnostic services, rehabilitation, and a variety of day clinics.

The community of Red Lake is home to approximately 5000 residents. The primary industries include mining, tourism, and forestry. The town is approximately a 3 hour drive from Kenora and a five hour drive from Winnipeg.
