Our multidisciplinary team consists of Osteopathic Manual Practitioner, Registered Physiotherapy, Athletic Therapy, Massage Therapy and Registered Nurse Practitioner(s).

About the Position:

We are seeking a Physiotherapist with expertise and a passion for Functional and Sports Medicine to join our dynamic team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to combine manual therapy with strength and conditioning rehab to help clients achieve peak performance.

You will play a pivotal role in developing tailored treatment plans that integrate rehabilitation with sports performance and functional health principles, aiming for long-term sustainable recovery.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments, develop, and execute customized treatment plans in alignment with clients’ goals.
  • Apply manual therapy techniques and collaborate with fellow therapists.
  • Monitor and document progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and maintain professional communication.
  • Design and deliver strength and conditioning, rehabilitation, and acute/chronic physical therapy programs.
  • Adhere to evidence-based, best practice guidelines.

Required Skills:

  • Sports Medicine: Strong knowledge of sports injuries, functional rehabilitation, and the application of Physical Therapy principles to optimize health and performance.
  • Manual Therapy: Experience in applying hands-on techniques to treat soft tissue injuries, joint dysfunction, and musculoskeletal conditions.
  • Client-Focused: Ability to connect with clients and provide personalized care plans tailored to their unique needs and goals.
  • Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Willingness and ability to work alongside a team of practitioners to deliver comprehensive care.
  • Time Management: Ability to handle a full caseload while maintaining attention to detail and providing exceptional patient care.

Qualifications:

  • Registered Physiotherapist (RPT) in good standing with College of Physio Ontario
  • Experience in Sports Medicine: Additional training or certification in sports medicine, injury prevention, rehabilitation is highly preferred.
  • Manual Therapy Skills: Proficiency in manual therapy techniques such as joint mobilizations, soft tissue therapy, and myofascial release.
  • Additional Certifications: Additional certifications in Strength & Conditioning, Concussion Management, TMJ Therapy are a plus.
  • Experience in a Multidisciplinary Setting: Ideal candidates will have worked in a collaborative, integrative environment.

Position Details:

  • Part-time, 6-14 hours per week, with potential for increased hours based on demand.
  • Competitive remuneration and commission, negotiable, or room rental.
  • Six-month probationary period.
  • Language: English (required).
