Vestibular Rehab: A Comprehensive Introduction (2 days)
This introductory course is a comprehensive, evidence-based approach to assessing and managing dizziness, vertigo, motion sensitivity, compromised gaze stability and imbalance resulting from peripheral and central vestibular disorders. The course includes an in-depth section on BPPV incorporating all the proven treatment maneuvers and ample practical time. Assessment and treatment techniques relevant to a variety of chronic vestibular dysfunctions are reviewed with practical time provided.
The role of vestibular rehabilitation in concussion management has been growing rapidly and a section of the course has been devoted to this area of practice. Course participants receive all of the assessment forms, treatment programs and much more. Links to a recorded course are provided for on-demand reviewing.
Course Content also includes patient related videos (nystagmus, oculomotor findings etc.), case studies and a review quiz.

Advanced Vestibular Rehab course (1 day)
The Advanced course is appropriate for therapists who have taken an introductory course and would like to review and enhance their skills. More recently, visual-vestibular integration strategies have proven to be an effective intervention in some cases of Persistent Post Concussive Symptoms (PPCS). A component of the course incorporates a review of these interventions.

Participants will:
Learn to assess and implement effective vestibular rehabilitation programming for individuals with complex vestibular and CNS related dysfunctions. Understand and develop enhanced skills in assessing and treating BPPV
Perform a vision screening evaluation and develop an awareness of the role of Physiotherapy and Neuro-Optometry in managing individuals with these complex dysfunctions
