Participants who register for this course have the option to attend the course live-online and/or watch the recording later. The recording will be available to all registrants for a 6-week period and access is provided on the next business day following the course. Course Description:
Yoga and mindfulness are powerful tools for healing, especially for pelvic health conditions such as incontinence, urinary urgency, pelvic organ prolapse, bowel disorders, pregnancy and postpartum. Clinicians will leave this course ready to integrate yoga and mindfulness practice in their treatment and exercise prescriptions. Content will include research in these areas of biopsychosocial practice, as well as detailed examples of yoga poses specific to clinical diagnosis with modifications and contraindications.
This class is an active learning experience. You will be moving, including practicing yoga postures and mindfulness techniques to help your patients and support your own health and well-being.
