Qualifications:

Overview:
The candidate is responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating musculoskeletal and movement-related conditions within an active population. Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough patient assessments, including history-taking, physical exams, and functional testing.
Develop individualized high quality treatment plans using evidence-based interventions (e.g., manual therapy, exercise prescription, modalities, education).
Collaborate with sports medicine physicians, sports physiotherapist, athletic therapists, massage therapists, sports dietitians and strength coaches for integrated care.
Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation in accordance with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario (CPO) standards.
Educate patients on injury prevention, rehabilitation progress, and self-management strategies.
Refer to and communicate with other healthcare providers when appropriate (internally and externally)
Participate in ongoing professional development and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

Mandatory:
o Master’s (or equivalent) degree in Physiotherapy.
o Registration in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.
o Valid professional liability insurance.
Recommended:
o 2 years of clinical experience is preferred but new grads are welcome to apply
