Physiotherapist – Full Time

The Renfrew Chiropractic & Rehabilitation Centre is a well-established, multidisciplinary clinic with a strong reputation in the community and excellent referral relationships with local primary care and allied health providers. Our collaborative team includes chiropractors, physiotherapists, and registered massage therapists, all working together to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care.

We are currently seeking a full-time physiotherapist to join our growing team.

About the Role

This position will initially involve taking over an established, full caseload during a maternity leave. Following this period, there is strong potential for the role to continue long-term, as clinic demand supports an additional full-time physiotherapist.

This role is best suited to a physiotherapist with a primary focus on orthopaedic care. Applicants with additional training or a clinical interest in pelvic floor and/or paediatric physiotherapy are strongly encouraged to apply, though these interests are not required.

You will provide one-on-one, evidence-based care in a professional and supportive environment that prioritizes active rehabilitation, clinical autonomy, and high-quality patient outcomes.

Clinical Environment

  • One-on-one care model
  • Private treatment rooms with electric height-adjustable tables
  • Open, fully equipped rehabilitation space to support active care and exercise-based treatment
  • Full administrative support, including booking, billing, and patient communication
  • Electronic charting and online booking systems
  • Collaborative, multidisciplinary team culture

Compensation

  • Competitive split compensation
  • Consistent referrals and strong caseload potential

New Graduates Welcome

This position represents an excellent opportunity for new graduates.

Our clinic is located in a community that qualifies under the Government of Canada Student Loan Forgiveness Program for healthcare professionals working in rural or underserved areas. Renfrew meets the geographic eligibility criteria, allowing qualifying physiotherapists to receive annual federal student loan forgiveness while practising in our community.

Qualifications

  • Registered Physiotherapist in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario
  • Valid professional liability/malpractice insurance
  • Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills
  • Commitment to patient-centred, evidence-based care
  • Experience or interest in orthopaedic, pelvic floor, or paediatric populations considered an asset

Registered Physiotherapist (Full-Time / Part-Time)

We are currently seeking a Physiotherapist to join our team on a full-time or part-time basis. New graduates and experienced clinicians are both welcome to apply.

The successful candidate will assess and treat a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions and develop individualized treatment plans focused on recovery, mobility, and long-term wellness. Responsibilities include conducting thorough physical assessments, providing manual therapy, prescribing therapeutic exercises, and using modalities where appropriate. The role also involves educating patients on injury prevention, posture, and rehabilitation strategies.

You will be working in a multidisciplinary setting alongside a team that includes a social worker, chiropodist, naturopath, occupational therapist, osteopath, chiropractor, and massage therapist, allowing for a collaborative and well-rounded approach to patient care.

You will have the opportunity to build and manage your own caseload while being supported by a professional and welcoming team. Maintaining accurate clinical documentation and ensuring treatment areas meet safety and hygiene standards are essential aspects of this role.
